Beyond Bether - What is Betherblok?

Betherblok aspires to not be just an ordinary Proton Block Producer, but also the Proton’s first blockchain development depot powered by community. To accomplish this, Betherblok will be a platform where developers will be able to post tutorials to help foster community among Proton's developers. In return, users will be able to “tip” them using XPR tokens for their work.

Betherblok Startup Event (BSE)

Each June and December startups can enter the BSE for a chance to win XPR token rewards. To enter, contestants will be required to supply the following details on the Betherblok platform: project name, token name / ticker, whitepaper, website, team members, members' LinkedIn, social media channels, GitHub repository. The more information supplied, the more contestant visibility and higher the ranking in the project list.

Having KYC in place also improves project ranking. To avoid scam tokens, each contestant will be required to stake a fixed amount of XPR until the voting period ends. Proton users will be able to vote for their favorite projects using XPR tokens with a maximum of 100,000 XPR per user. The most voted on project will receive the current reward from the Betherblok Startup Pool.
